Mad Cool Festival returns to Iberdrola Music in Villaverde for four nights in July 2027, exact dates still to come. The venue sits in Madrid’s southern industrial belt, on the opposite side of the city from most hotels and from Barajas Airport. There’s no festival-sized parking on site, so getting in is straightforward. Getting out with everyone else is the part worth planning for.

DAY 1
(Opening Night)

Expect the lightest crowds of the whole event and the easiest transfer in and out. Worth using this one to test your route and scout the exit roads before things get busy.

DAYS 2–3
(Peak Nights)

Barajas has a fast, direct metro line into the city centre, so it's easy to assume the rest of the trip is just as simple. It isn't. Getting to Villaverde means changing lines and then walking from Villaverde Alto station fine with a backpack, a lot less fine with festival luggage and four days of clothes for the Madrid summer.
